If you have a food processor, I have the easiest pizza dough recipe for you. It’s just a few ingredients, and takes about 5 minutes to mix. (It’ll take a bit longer to rise, but that’s no work.)
3 1/2 c. flour, divided
1 packet quick yeast
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. maple syrup
1 c. warm water
1/4 c. olive oil
In the food processor, combine the warm water, salt, and maple syrup. Process for twenty seconds.
Add yeast packet, process for five seconds.
Add one cup of flour, process for another few seconds.
Add the olive oil, process for however long it takes you to measure out the remaining two and a half cups of flour.
Add the remaining flour, and process until it forms a ball. Once it does only process for a few more seconds – you don’t want to knead it in the machine.
Unplug the processor, and remove the dough. Knead it a bit and place it in a bowl, then cover with saran wrap. Allow to rise for 45 minutes.
When the time is up, punch dough down, re-cover, and let it sit for another hour.
When the time’s up, knead and roll it out. It’s ready for your sauce and toppings!
